I'm able to shrug off the overwhelming burden of it all. You know, the pointless decision making, the rhetorical questioning and all that other crap people put stock in because they think somehow they can avoid an inevitable outcome.

Has to know some German, right? Good!
The German language has a word for taking pleasure in the pity of others, schadenfreude. I'd hazard a guess that there's one for wallowing in your own self pity.
